Malik is among Chicago’s Top 5 most featured musical artists and is one of the world’s most renowned spoken word musicians. He hit the national spotlight when he served as a coach for Lorenz Tate in Love Jones and made a cameo appearance. He has won an Emmy, Grammy, and Peabody for his linguistic prowess and has collaborated with artists such as Common, Kanye West, Jennifer Hudson, and Dr. Cornell West. His works have been featured on films such as Coach Carter and he was featured on Def Comedy Jam. Malik’s victory over dyslexia, poetic ingenuity, business acumen, and philanthropic efforts makes him a keeper of the dream! This is a FREE TICKETED EVENT. Seating is limited.
